In one afternoon you can do it all. Take a tour of Lima and visit the Plaza Mayor, then check out the catacombs at the Monasterio de San Francisco church. And if you're really feeling adventerous, drive up the narrow, winding mountain road to see the cross and an amazing 360 degree view of Lima. Quick Tips: Lima is a large city with many different sections, (some safe others not) so I recommend you hire a tour guide to show you the city's.
