this place has the greatest pancakes ever! a very popular destination after going out all night. very quirky and alternative waitstaff! make sure to check out their specials as well- this is a big austin landmark and all the local have been and love it for a reason!

i have been here for formal occasions and have always loved it. very masculine with a boxing theme and a martini bar attached. they do great steaks and are quite close to some of the best nightspots in austin. good for a special occasion.

this is a great hangout for drinks as well as to grab a bite to eat. they have more choices that your average brewery. this ia pretty popular hangout for a lot of age groups, but the crowd is mostly 20s-30s.

this has some incredible views and is one of the most popular places in austin. you can get simple outdoorsy food here and it is absolutely beautiful (and the most crowded!). to get here as they ring the bell as the sun sets over the hills and lake.

this scene can get pretty crazy, but it is a must-see. this is a strip lined with every kind of bar, club and lounge imaginable, each with their own personality. so you have a really diverse groups all mingling in the street.

this is a great place- live music and dancing, swanky decor and an all-over great place to check out. one of my favorite bars in austin, and a big local fave as well. you feel like something out of the movie "swingers!"
