London is a very happening city. I was there for a short while and here are some places that I think are definitely worth mentioning!

A Trip to London

Overview

London is a very beautiful and historic city. There is so much to see and do in London. The best thing I found here was looking at the historic structures and getting a feel for all the history behind this great city.

Quick Tips:

London can be pretty expensive. Do your research before you get there. You can book online for hotels and such and get good deals. Also print out money saving coupons before you come.

Best Way To Get Around:

The tube is by far the best way to get around here. Get a day pass and you can get pretty much anywhere you need to be!
Look at him escape!
I've been to both Madame Tussaud's Wax Museums and I would have to say the one in London is the better one!

This place is so much fun and always a pleasure to visit. You start off in the main forum, where you get to mingle with many super stars, including Brad Pitt, Madonna, Hugh Grant, and many more. As you walk through this spacious museum, you will get a chance to get a nice little scare through the chamber of horror. But don't worry, after the chamber of horror, you are given a relaxing ride on a cute trolley that takes you through a brief history of England. End your experience by mingling with historical super stars like Neil Armstrong and Galileo and watch a nice little education film about space. Overall, this is a really fun and exciting place to visit!

The beautiful gates
I think everybody is familiar with the Queen's residence in England, also better known as the Buckingham Palace. No matter how many photos you have seen of this place, seeing it in person is amazing. It's a beautiful architectural structure, and the gardens surrounding it are amazingly green and very pleasant to take a walk around in. It is a lot of fun to sit by the fountain and watch the seemingly frozen guards safe keep the palace, and a fun place to come take pictures and stroll around. You can even take a guided tour of the castle.

A Far Away Picture of the Bridge
The Tower Bridge is a really beautiful structure in England. Just like most things in London, it is an ornate and old structure whose design and architecture is really amazing. You can see it from afar and if you get nearby, it is fun to take a walk along the this beautiful and large bridge. I have also taken a cruise that passes under the bridge and gives some spectacular and cool views of the bridge. It is definitely worth taking one of these cruises if you have the time and budget!

Trafalgar Square

Activity

This is one of the most beautiful places to be in London. It's located very central, close to many little cafes, shops, and museums. It's easy to access right off the Tube. The square itself is a nice place to just hang out. There are some nice fountains there where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery. The scenery here includes many people, a bustling road, and a bunch of pigeons!

Harrod's

Activity

If you love to shop, then go to London. Even if it is only to visit Harrod's. Harrod's is the worlds largest shopping mall. It is extravagant and really magnificent, boasting so many different levels of designer clothing, accessories, make-up, jewelery, furniture, home goods, and so much more. The entire store literally sparkles and everything is so inviting. If you are going to Harrod's, plan to spend a good amount of time here—this is not your average store. There is a lot to look at and many different levels to visit. The customer service here is excellent and there are people around every corner to help you in any way. If you are a girl especially, make sure to visit the make-up counters! They have so many and you can have so much fun testing and trying out the different lines. When shopping makes you hungry, there's no need to leave the store!! Just walk down to the basement and you have a whole market featuring all different types of foods. My absolute favorite thing here was the bakery, which sold some really tasty chocolate croissants. Overall, this is a place you must visit if you in London. It is an experience of its own!!
