I highly recommend the Tom Yum soup--you decide how spicy. The Nad Sod is a "salad" dish with pork, basil, and ginger and has a nice kick to it. The pad Thai was excellent, a peanut-sauced noodle dish. For dessert, I recommend the dish titled F.B.I.--fried bananas and ice cream sprinkled with sesame seeds, which was very yummy! I do not recommend the pumpkin custard, which was a gelatin-looking mold with strips of pumpkin and sprinkled with sesame seeds, very bland and not a good blend of flavors. The server was very pleasant and helpful during the first half of dinner, and then disappeared for awhile. The taste was authentically Thai and worth going back for!

We were willing to forgive the attitude of the server, thinking it was part of the Italian ambiance, if only the food was good. The mozzarella, tomato, and basil appetizer had little to no taste. I do not recommend it. The menu only offered very basic choices, nothing original or different. DO NOT come here for wine, as they only offer five or six choices. I ordered the rigatoni bolognese, which was simply rigatoni pasta and meat sauce. The sauce had a more Spanish spice rather than authentic Italian spice. In fact, there wasn't much taste to the sauce either. My husband and mother ordered spaghetti and meat sauce, which was the same dish as mine, just different pasta. I give the food a three on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 meaning I would definitely go back.
To be fair, my husband was the only one who ordered dessert, tiramisu, and he bragged that it was excellent. He gave it a 9 out of 10, saying that they used real ladyfingers for the dessert. The prices were very reasonable, but the food had a low-income flavor. I wish I would've picked a better choice for a restaurant, especially being in NYC!
