Chicago weekend destinations.

Corner Bakery

Restaurant

When visiting Chicago, we dined at the Corner Bakery three or four times. The staff there was extremely courteous and the food was wonderful! They offer everything from pasta to salad to sandwiches and fresh-baked goodies. I highly recommend the Corner Bakery for a quick meal that is more enjoyable than the typical fast-food experience.

This is a must see in Chicago! They have wonderful exhibits for the whole family! I highly recommend the Ancient Egypt exhibit which includes 12 mummies and two rooms from an actual Egyptian tomb!

Activity

Wicked is currently playing at Ford Theatre. Wicked is a fabulous show explaining the fate of two young witches from Oz who come to be known and Glenda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West. A must-see!
