Grand Canyon North Rim

Kaibab Lodge is located 5 miles from the entrance of the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park and a total of 18 miles from the rim and visitors center.

The room that I stayed in was an Eastview room. These rooms appeared to be new and recently constructed. The room had two double beds with a lounge table and a separate bathroom. The room also had a separate deck that looked out onto the meadows that surround the lodge.

The shower in the bathroom was very small and did not have high water pressure all of the time because they have to truck in their water from outside.

The room does not have a TV, but there is a nice TV in the lodge that they let you use. There is wireless Internet in the lodge that they get from a satellite. The restaurant in the lodge also makes this a very nice place to stay.

This hotel comes highly recommended because it is the only other reasonable hotel to stay in, except for the Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge, which is located inside of the park.
