An adventurous climb to the top of Steamboat's premiere mountain. The hike upwards takes roughly 3 to 4 hours, depending on athleticism. The views of Steamboat Valley and the surrounding area is breathtaking. The trail winds around the mountain and can be hard on some. Locals are usually the only ones climbing up (tourists will usually ride to the top and climb down). Once you reach the top, you can ride the gondola down for free.
