Sight-Seeing in San Francisco

We visited the Redwood Room at Clift Hotel for some drinks after attending a day-time wedding. The staff was courteous and accommodating. Even when the room was very crowded, it was relatively easy to get up to the bar and order a drink. The room had a pleasant and relaxed vibe. Over sized couches made nice spots to enjoy a drink. The noise level within the bar was never so loud that carrying on a conversation became difficult.

We visited on a Saturday night, and after 10pm the location seemed to fill up quickly. We had arrived much earlier, around 8pm and did not have to pay a cover. The drinks however, were a bit pricey at $10 per premium liquor drink.

This location is a good choice for tourists staying in Union Square and wanting to venture out for a drink but not stray too far from their own accommodations.
