A City Near my Home

A June 2006 trip to Humble by LR2

I visit here often, here is my advice on where to go.

Humble, TX is a suburb of Houston and has been steadily growing. What I find most particular is that Humble has way too many restaurants, but they all get tons of business. Some sights: 1. Deerbrook Mall- Not the best mall but it has an AMC 24 theaters, a food court and the essential stores. 2. There is a lot of shopping scenes here.

Quick Tips:

1. Traffic can get bad during rush-hour, so if you plan on a movie put it into consideration. You can lose up to 10 minutes coming from 59N/S or 15-20 minutes coming from 1960E.

Best Way To Get Around:

Well, I drive here frequently. But if you came in though the airport a cab can get you where you need to go.

Restaurant

A great place to go for some inexpensive Italian. I came here because of the name. I went to NY and really liked the pizza; I came to see if it was any near close.

So, was it good? Yes, it was. I was pretty impressed on how close they got to what I had in NY. I will visit here again. Want great pizza, here is the place.

Deerbrook MallBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

A good sized mall with an AMC Theaters 24, a food court and the essential stores. The theater is pretty good and has comfortable seating, but the concession stands still cost a fortune. A good thing about the department stores is that they always have good things on sale. I recommend checking out Foley's and Macy's for the best prices.
