North Carolina Zoo

I hadn't been to the NC Zoo in probably 15 years, so since our friends were in town we decided to take a few hours out of our day to go visit the zoo. It was fun getting to walk around and see the different animals. Any zoo is a great place to visit and spend time with family and friends, and the NC Zoo is no exception. We went to see the 3D movie about the Sea which cost us $4. It was fun, but I definitely recommend it for the kiddies. About half-way through the zoo exhibits there is a DippinDots ice-cream cart and a seating area. So we stopped and got some ice-cream to cool off. And we ended our visit at the zoo in the air-conditioned souvenir shops. Fun times!
