Chicago
Chicago is such a beautiful place to be. The skyline is amazing and the city, though not as big as New York, has so much to offer. It is a compact city, but it is packed with so many things to do, see, and ENJOY.

Quick Tips:

There are many places to go to in Chicago. If you are on a budget, no worries. There are many places that are fun and free of charge. If you are a student, don't forget to bring your ID along for some good discounts!

Best Way To Get Around:

You can rent a car, but finding parking in the city can be a hassle and parking garages are expensive. The train or bus is probably your best bet!

Field Museum
I think the Field Museum is an okay place to visit. I think I went here expecting a lot of neat things, but was disappointed to find that this museum was costly and not really all that interesting. The exhibits that were included in the base price were really not that great and anything that seemed unique and interesting cost more. They had a bunch of exhibits, but nothing really outstanding or mind boggling. The one thing I did like here was the jewels room, which housed many precious and priceless jewels and stones. If you are visiting here, make sure to bring along your student ID, because it will save you a few dollars on admission. There is also a McDonalds in the basement of this place for those of you looking for something to eat as you browse.

Lincoln Park Zoo
This Zoo is great if you are visiting Chicago. It is a fun place to go whether or not there are kids in your party. To start off with this zoo is really well kept and a pleasure to take a walk in. As you walk around, you can explore and interact with all the different animals they have here. Each display area is fun and unique and if you stop to read the little boards, you will surely learn something interesting. There are so many animals here to see. Even if you are not a fan of animals, come here and enjoy a nice stroll in the beautiful zoo grounds. Did I mention that this beautiful and fun place is FREE??
