Hua Hin, Thailand, February 2006
In February 2006 I was on holiday in Bangkok, and after some hot days in the big city, I needed some clean air, and wanted to relax a little.
So I took the bus from Bangkok to Hua Hin, it is a 3-hour drive in a aircon bus, the price is low ( about 15 us ).
When I arrived to Hua Hin, I asked for a cheap hotel.
I was shown to All Nation Guesthouse. a good cheap hotel, maybe a 2 star.
But I was only planing to stay ther for a few days, so I took it.
Hua Hin is a real tourist town (a little to much i think )
There is many Scandinavian people ther, but it is still a nice town.
There are many shops, restaurants and what else you can expect from such a town.
The beach is long, whit fine sand. and you will have no problem whit spending a day or 2 there.
There is some things thing to do in the night, of course a lot bar`s and eating places.
There is also 2 places where you can watch kick boxing.
It is a small town, but a nice place to spend a frew days away from the Bangkok madness.
And also it is the closes place from Bangkok if you want beach and clear weather.
I think you can spend 2-3 days in Hua Hin, but not much more, or else you will get bored.
All in all a ok city.
