Hotel | "Hampton Inn "

The weekend of June 23, we stayed at The Hampton Innn on Highway 1 in Lewes, Delaware which is located about 5 miles from Rehoboth Beach. The Hampton Inn is centrally located to the Tanger outlets. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The staff is more than accommodating. The lobby is tastefully decorated and very roomy with a complimentary hot beverage bar which is open at all times. There is a small indoor heated pool and complimentary hot and cold breakfast served each morning. We stayed at this hotel with my daughter's traveling softball team so there were many adults as well as children of a variety of ages. We traveled to Sports at the Beach for a tournament and it took us only about 15 minutes to get there from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a future stay.

Crabby Dick'sBest of IgoUgo

Crabby Dick's is located on Highway 1 in Lewes/Rehoboth Beach. We went with a group of 35, both adults as well as children of various ages. We were able to make a reservation ahead of time on the day we wanted to dine and the restaurant was able to accommodate us. The children had a great time because they were able to draw right on the paper covered tables with crayons. There is a large variety of foods on the menu both seafood and not. There is also a children's menu for the little ones. I can actually say that everyone will be able to find something they will like on the menu. The atmosphere is a fun one. After dinner we went into the gift shop that had various souvenirs from the restaurant that are crab related. We had some really good laughs looking at the various sayings printed on the T-shirts. I would highly recommend this restaurant for one fun experience, and good food too!

Attraction

My two teenagers and myself went to the boardwalk of Rehoboth Beach in the evening. There is a lot to do for both adults as well as families. There are arcades as well as rides and many shops to browse through. The beach itself looked very clean.

Attraction | "Sports at the Beach"

If your child ever has the opportunity to play baseball or softball at Sports At The Beach, I say GO GO GO! The facility is absolutely amazing. There are about 13 fields of different sizes, a playground, and a pool for participants as well as families of participants. The grounds are beautifully maintained. My daughter has had the opportunity to play there twice so far with her traveling team and both times were absolutely awesome!

Tanger OutletsBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

We had the opportunity to go to the Tanger outlets in Lewes/Rehoboth, Delaware. They are outlets galore. Every retailer imaginable is located throughout the complexes. There are three different locations of outlets in the area all located on Highway 1. From New Jersey you could take over the Cape May Ferry and they are located about 9 minutes from there. The bargains are very good.
