I went down to the Big Easy during spring break, but not to party. I actually went to check out UNO to see if I would like staying there.

Aquarium of the Americas

Attraction | "Aquarium of the Americas"

Very clean, moderately cost, and lots of fun. There is lots to see from interactive games to touch pools to live demonstrations to history. The area is safe too.

Budget Guide

Story/Tip

There are lots of restaurants all around the city, but a lot can be expensive. Wendy's on the strip is good and so is the restaurant Lafitte's. Be careful though, because meal tax is quite high in the state.
