#1 vacation destination.

Bedrrom and tub area of one bedrrom suite

The Marriott Grande Vista is a very luxurious timeshare resort. The resort is set on several acres of land impeccably manicured, with five recreation/pool areas with hottubs, grills, and a beautiful lake in the center of it all. The complex is so big, it would take a couple of hours just to walk the perimeter! There is an indoor children's playground that is similar to what you'd find in McDonalds, but with nice, comfortable couches for parents to relax while they wait. The indoor playground is right next to the Exercise Room in the Clubhouse, there are all sorts of exercise machines. In addition to weight machines, there are free weights, stationary bikes, treadmills and ellipticals, and the mandatory TV. There is also a separate room just with bikes and two TVs.

The resort's key attraction spot is the huge lake with a beautiful, big white wooden bridge crossing the center of it. The bridge goes from the main pool area, to a satellite pool area, equally as spectacular and nice as the main pool. There are more condo units on that side of the lake too. The resort has boats available for rent, actually they look like giants swans or goats, you get to pick. You can also rent 4-person bikes that look like little cars with canvas roofs, but are powered by pedalling. We didn't do it either, it was nice to look at but more work that we wanted to exert on a hot day, we just stayed in the pools. Being out on the lake could provide a nasty sunburn too! There is also an onsite championship golf course for those diehard golf enthusiasts.

Around the perimeter of the property there is a hiking trail, the down side is when you get to the end of the trail (about a mile), you have to turn around a retrace your steps when we were hoping to come out someplace different! In summary, great resort, beautiful setting, lots to do!
