I would highly reccommend this place to those who prefer to pay a few dollars more for a vastly improved service. I paid Q130 or about $18 which is not dirt cheap, but it was cheaper than many other places in town. Where it gets more expensive is with more people because this hotel charges per person... So Q130 per person per night. The decor is really nice, there is a beautiful garden in the courtyard and the rooms have a lot of space. The bathrooms are really clean and it is a few blocks to down town. There is an orchid nursery around the corner, the Museum of Mayan Art down the street, and a Spanish school a few more blocks but all within walking distance. This is a tiny little museum but worth a visit. Entrance is Q10 per person. They have different Mayan artifacts such as pottery and even teeth - the Mayans used to put jade in their teeth.
