Resort Experience:
The resort itself is beautiful and the hotel staff is wonderful. However, beware of the timeshare promoters. If you are Canadian they tell you in order to get $200 off your restaurant bill for the week you need to give them $40. Then, after you have wasted about 3 hours listening to someone try to sell you a timeshare, they ask you for the $40 in order to get your discount. They say you didn't give them the $40, even if you have a receipt, which I did, they say that is just an explanation of the promotion. I got no satisfaction from the management at this hotel and in fact was treated to a little Mexican Soap Opera where another timeshare hostess and a bell boy were playing the part of a supervisor and the head of security respectively. It took me several days to get this mess sorted, and really the prices are so high in the restaurant that you don't end up saving much, and it certainly isn't worth the hassle and wasting precious vacation time.
