Do not be afraid of the drinks in the blinking light glasses. Do be afraid of spending all your money on the drinks in the blinking light glasses. This cruise was awesome! From the moment we walked aboard until the moment we left we had an amazing time. It is a beautiful ship and everyone aboard was so nice and helpful. It honestly seemed like everyone there really loved their job. We were greeted immediately by smiling people offering colorful drinks. The boat was beautiful and we really felt like we were embarking on something special and unique. They had three pools and we were so busy with everything else we never even had time to swim in any of them. From art shows to drunken bingo, this cruise w...Read More

The stateroom was pretty basic but nice. I was bunking with two other people and we had two beds on each side (one on top of the other). Each bed had its own reading light as well. I had the top bunk and I liked it up there—it was easy to get up with the ladder. I found it easier to just jump down in the morning. We each had a couple of little drawers (and I mean little) to put our things in and we each had some closet space as well. I'm not going to lie—it was tight but it's a ship so that's to be expected. We had an extra bed which we all put the luggage on. I honestly don't know where we would've put it if we didn't have that bed. There just wasn't enough room for all of the luggage any other way. ...Read More

I have to say the dining on this boat was really fantastic. The dinners we had were all excellent. We had our choice of a salad or soup, main course, and dessert at every meal. If you like you can get all soups or all main courses— whatever! You get three servings so it is your choice what you want. The menu was set every night but they had several choices each night. I am a vegetarian and did not have a hard time finding anything to eat. The food was fabulous as well. Interesting foods, like watermelon soup, etc. Not your run of the mill stuff. We also had about three waiters—the drink waiter, the bread waiter, and then the full waiter. The bread just keeps flowing the entire time. Even if you tell t...Read More

Attraction | "Casino Royale, Drunken Bingo & the Art Show"

The casino was a great time! It was the perfect size for the boat—never seemed too crowded. The slots were fun and fairly easy to win on. The electronic blackjack table was also really fun and addictive. I did not play on any of the other tables but the people looked like they were enjoying themselves. My two sisters and I became addicted to the waterfall game. A very lame game where you put quarters in a slot in hopes that they will push more out to you. It is a total money sucker but somehow a lot of fun! We also played bingo one day in Carousel Lounge which was fun but I don't think I would do it again. The bingo card cost $35 and seemed like a rip off—I think we had about nine games on the card bu...Read More

Attraction | "Shipshape Fitness Center"

One day we managed to get up early enough to take the pilates class. It was a pretty good class, a decent amount of people, not too crowded. It wasn't really a big workout so I didn't pass up any more "fun" nights just to get up early and workout. A lot of people did use the fitness center and I was planning on using it more on the day at sea. Unfortunately, it was really rough that day and I wasn't able to do much but sit on deck with a blanket over my head. The day we left Key West my sister and I used the running track on the top of the ship to log a few miles. Even though I had just run a marathon 3 weeks before that it was harder and more tiring to run on a moving ship. I would probably use the t...Read More

Well in all fairness I should say that I am not really a nightclub person. I would much rather spend my time in a pub or dive bar. The clubs on board were really no exception to the standard nightclub rule, except that you get a broader range of participants. Drinking on board is legal for everyone over 18 so there's all ages—from 18 to 70+. The nightclubs are actually really cool looking inside with posh chairs and themed rooms. They are also complete with the people who think they are a size 6 but really should be wearing a much larger size. Yeah, I think you know the type—would look great if they just wore the right size? Well it appears they take cruises as well and really let loose at night. My 1...Read More
