A May 2006 trip to Concord by m2fernandes
Quote: Located about an hour to an hour and a half north of Boston, Concord is a spread out, rural yet suburban, entity in New Hampshire. You'll find beautiful mountain scenery as well your eclectic downtown shopping area. A different scene all to itself.

Restaurant
Once inside, there are more booths than tables. We went for breakfast so that is the only thing I was able to review. There are very few breakfast restaurants in the area, so this is what was recommended to us by a local. It is some what of a "greasy spoon" type of establishment. The carpeted floor was sprinkled with others bits of breakfast remnants. And if my memory is correct, it was a bit sticky too. The table was sort of wiped down really quick and not much elbow grease was put into it.
The menu is a two page menu featuring eggs, pancakes, and french toast. Hence, there wasn't anything that made it famous or pop out as a potential for something new. All three of us ordered an omelet and it was very good. Covering half the plate with eggs, cheese, and "toppings" the omelet came with home-fries and toast. The home-fries were just potatoes and no onions/peppers to accompany it. The toast was already buttered and came in four slices. Everything was cooked fresh and came out hot.
Prices are reasonable and you can add on extra french toast or pancake for about a $1. The staff was friendly and gave us directions to a destination for post-breakfast. If you are looking for a bite to eat with nothing fancy and you're not too much in a rush, this is a good place to try it out.
