A Day Trip to Detroit

This is a regular old Hampton Inn, what can I say. If the pool is open we're happy. The staff is usually very nice and friendly. We had adjoining rooms and the kids just loved having their own room and TV. Hampton Inns are great and we haven't had a bad time yet in their hotels.

This was a fun overnight trip that my husband and son wanted to take. We went to Detroit, Michigan, to see the new Tiger Stadium called Comerica Park. I can tell Detroit really loves their Tigers. This Stadium has a Tiger merry-go-round, a Tiger carousel, and a Tiger Ferris wheel. If you look at the scoreboard, when a home run is hit by one of The Tigers, the eyes of the Tigers on the scoreboard light up. I have to say this may be the best new ball park I have been to so far. I just Love it!
