Located just a few steps from the train station, and offering spectacular views of the Matterhorn, this little bed-and-breakfast—run by an older gentleman, the owner—was the perfect place to stay for our weekend in Zermatt. For around CHF65 per person, per night, we found that this was a steal. The accommodations were pretty good, if a little small, and included your own bathroom/shower, a balcony with views of the Matterhorn, walking distance to everything, a wonderful typical breakfast (cheese, meats, cereal, croissants, etc… ) and a ski locker room with boot heaters and ski racks. Everything was very clean, the bed linens were warm and comfy and we would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat.
