I couldn't believe how easy and safe it was to travel to Disney with my two young children.

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort

Best Things Nearby:
Although our room was considered a standard location (Dalmatian Bldg.) we were within walking distance from the main lobby and bus stop. The pool was also a short distance away.

Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing about ASM was the food court.

Resort Experience:
ASM is like an amusement park within itself. The larger than life statues of the different Disney Movie Icons were not only appealing to my children but myself as well—they make for great photo props. As a single parent I found the price to be very suitable to my budget. I was delightfully surprised when I saw that there were other single mothers who had travelled to Disney alone with their children staying here. The safety and security I felt at this hotel was great.

Chef Mickeys (at Contemporary Resort)

My children and I dined at Chef Mickey's for the Character Breakfast. I can tell you, that although my kids are 9 and 10-years-old, they enjoyed every moment at this restaurant. Every 30 minutes or so Mickey and his friends do a little dance and song routine and encourages all patrons to join in. This is a great spot to get those important character pics. Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, and Pluto all make their rounds to every table for pics. While Goofy is in attendance he does not take photos.

Nouba

Activity

La Nouba

This was the first time that either myself or my children had the opportunity to see this show live. We have always watched it on BRAVO Channel. My children were totally entranced by the acrobatics and music. I was completely in awe of the fact that my children were enjoying themselves. We sat in the green section (lowest priced), but the seating was still within feet of the stage and the cast walked out right out within arms reach of us. This show is definitely a must-see for everyone.
