A May 2005 trip

Quote: "When you wish upon a star" dreams come true. A vacation filled with excitement, entertainment, magic, and smiles. This is a place where frowns turn into smiles and dreams come true. This is Walt Disney World Unwrapped...and a few other places as well!
Walt Disney World is a place beyond imagining. There is no way to find just one thing you like about this magical park! Everything here will make you dream about your dreams, and think the unimaginable. This is a Magic Theme Park where dreams come true. From hidden Mickeys, to Splash Mountain, to eating in Cinderella's castle this is my favorite theme park. I will always treasure these memories. Each an every time I get to go to Walt Disney World, my mind soars through all the possibilities.
So don't just go here to see only what your eyes can see, come here to see what your dreams see. With that in my mind, I had the best time of my life I could possibly have!
1. Walt Disney World is the size of Boston, HUGE. Walking around these huge parks, people get a little tired. Walking tends to make your feet hurt. So I suggest wearing tennis shoes. It will be a lot easier on your feet.
2. One way of making your Disney Vacation better is to go to a character breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it will make your day. I have a section written about it.
3. I love pools. Make sure that you book a resort that most suits your family. We booked the Yacht and Beach Club and they have by far the best swimming pool ever!
4. Stay at a resort! Doesn't matter any resort you stay at, you feel like someone special, and will make a better stay for you!
5. Remember any one at Disney can have fun, anyone. Make sure that your vacation best suits your needs.
6. Do not for get your parking lot number or you will be looking forever. Take that by experience!

The Yacht and Beach Club
Restaurant | "Cape May Cafe'"
Now it's time to tell you about the characters. Cape May Cafe' provides a character breakfast. That is when Disney characters come to your table while you dine, and they just make your morning so bright. They are so funny, it just lights up your day completely. Especially for little kids. The characters usually sign autograph books and they take pictures. But they also have fun with you. For instance, when we went goofy danced with my four year old sister!!! It was so funny and adorable. It was absolutely great. When you enter the Yacht and Beach Club, head straight into the breathtaking lobby. Then make a right and then a left and go straight. There will be a sign outside of it, CAPE MAY CAFE'. Or if your coming from the pool, head to the resort building, and you will find yourself on the sidewalk next to the pool, you'll have a fitness club and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop on your left. Follow the sidewalk until it ends, and there will be a door on your left. Just follow through the door, and into kind of like a maze hallway. When you come out, you will be looking at the Cape May Cafe'. It's very easy to go to, so there is absolutely no reason why not to go there. So don't forget to make reservations, they highly help.

Attraction | "Sea World"
Let's start with the rides. Kraken, the most notable ride in Sea World Florida. It is a monking roller coaster that exceeds the height of a 15 story building! It also reaches up to 65 mph! Now that is impressing. It literally felt like my face was going to come off. Also there is the Journey to Atlantis, that takes you on a trip where you meet spirits who want to keep Atlantis. And it takes you on a drop through 60ft.
There are many shows, one in particular, BELIEVE. A Shamu show, that will ultimately take your breath away, no joke about it. If you haven't seen Shamu yet, book your vacation now, at this instant. It is a captivating and visually stunning new show that Shamu and the trainers put on just for the audience to awe at. This is so important to come see. They also have Odyssea, Blue Horizon, Pets Ahoy, Clyde and Seamore, and Fusion! Now that's impressive!
There are a bunch of animal attractions, some being the shark encounter, or turtle exhibit. Though one in particular is the Dolphin nursery and cove, the dolphins are so beautiful that they are the ultimately best thing that happened to Sea World. Now at the dolphin cove you are able to feed the dolphin (My Picture), and you can even pet them because they are near enough. Just buy a couple bags of Fish, and they will know where to find you. Next to that is a stingray exhibit, Penguin, and Manattee exhibit!!!
Don't forget about the dining experiences!

Attraction | "Animal Kingdom"
Animal Kingdom IS NOT A ZOO! It is way BETTER than a Zoo, and will appeal to everyone not only kids, but to adults as well, and dont become mad when the person next to you gets sneezed on by a bug and you dont(It's Tough To be A bug). And dont have nightmares about the Yeti, because that is what he wants( Mt. Everest). But become happy and thrilled that you are here in Animal Kingdom and your co-workers and back at home with a frown on their face wishing they were you. So when you go back tell them all about it, and persuade them to go so the turn that frown upside down, because that is what Animal Kingdom does.
Now if you want to read how and what Animal Kingdom holds in it, read favorite part of the day, most fun for the kids, and most fun for the Adults because I want to talk about something extra special here, and you wont believe me when I tell you this:
The big surprise is a VIP Tour Service. This enables you to have all the fun that the price you pay can give you. Now it might be a little pricey, but when you have the chance grab it! Because it is not very often when a chance like this will give you. This tour service provides you with a guide and they plan your vacation, while you spend your extra time relaxing at the pool, playing, spending time with your kids, or adventure out to Downtown Disney or many other places. Don't worry about anything from when you meet your guide, they will take care of everything. When we recieved our guide, she planned our vacation without the troubles of when we have no idea what to do. She surprised us with getting us the best seats in Disney to see the Lion King play. It was phenomenal, and she even let us go backstage!!! Also, when the play comes to Disney every day, she left us the perfect place to view the parade pass by us. But that isn't the only thing she gave us advice, she was our personal guide, and helped us whenever we needed it. So check it out, it only helps!!!
Also note that there are other tours around Animal Kingdom like the Backstage Safari: Literally Back Stage around the Kilimanjaro Safari, and Wild by Design: See how Disney Imagineers thought of Animal Kingdom, and how they thought it up.

Disney's Animal Kingdom
Walt Disney World Resort
Orlando, Florida 32830
Now downtown Disney isn't one of the 4 kingdoms, and if you say it is Shame on You. It is simply a place where you can go and collect all your memories and put them into place. Downtown Disney contains shops, Legoland, hidden Mickeys, parades, and Rainforest Cafe. (You can read more about Rainforest Cafe in my other review.) When you go collect your souvenirs from the World of Disney Store, which has the Princess room, Adventure Room, and the Biddidi Biddidi Boutique, try saying that five times fast...anyways BBB is where all the little girls go to feel like a princess: Mainly Cinderella. They have crowns, makeup, outfits, etc. The World of Disney Store is a great place to collect your Disney souvenirs and trust me, you will be bringing home more in you suitcases than what you came with.
For Dining experiences, this and Epcot are one of a kind. Like Animal Kingdom, Rainforest Cafe' is also held in Downtown Disney. So read about that in my other review. Also Animal Kingdom can be read about in my other review. So back to the dining, you have Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant which is GREAT! Especially if you like shepherds pie. YUM! There are other places like Planet Hollywood, which is a must to eat at! You have the house of blues, Captain Jack restaurant, and a bunch more!
Though you haven't seen anything if you (adults ) haven't been to Pleasure Island. It is filled with a lot of fun. Just look at the most fun for adults section at the top and pull down to see more info.
Though do me a favor please and go to Downtown Disney, you never know what magic it will bring.

We walked around the boardwalk, and into the shops that it contained. Now not too many boardwalks are worth going on (coughnewjerseycough) but this one was very nice. It had shops that was fit for everyone in the city. I got myself a warp-around skirt for the beach, and my family bought shirts that said Daytona, Beach on them. It was a very family bonding moment. There was a cafe' there and we decided to have something to eat. There were tables right on the boardwalk to eat, and we watched the ocean shore and the seagulls fly above us.
Earlier that day, we decided to go to the one and only Daytona 500, and we were glad we did. Dale Earnhardt Jr. was there and he was signing autographs in the Nascar shop they had. It was amazing we got pictures with him and his autograph and help a memorable conversation with him. Now tell me what was better than that??? After that we took a ride around the track and soon to the middle of it, where we were allowed to be a passenger of one of the race cars, now nobody was allowed in Jrs, he rode by himself. I rode in one, and I thought my face was going to come off of my head! That was the best time I had in Daytona 500.
My advice would be to visit Daytona 500 Nascar track because you never know who will be there and what you can do!
Walt Disney World staff have thought about basically everything. From Character lunch, dinner, and breakfast to Legoland. But they thought of the people who notice a lot about the happenings and little things in the park. For these people they designed Hidden Mickey’s. The imagineers first thought of it as a joke, little mickey heads designed throughout the rides and parks. But they then thought of it as fun and came used to using it as an instinct. The Imagineer’s hide these Mickey’s everywhere, and it takes the best of people to figure out where they are.
Hidden Mickey’s take the form of stones, food, carpet, walls, paintings, and many other things. All it takes is a very good adventurer and when you find a hidden mickey you feel so great you want to find more. You may try to find and count the hidden Mickey’s, but there are just way too many to count. If you do count make sure you remember the number. I did that, and lost my count by 24. It was still very funny if you loose your count because you realize that there are just soooo many.
You can look for Hidden Mickey’s in the most unnoticeable spots, like a chair you maybe sitting on or a statue. They are also on Christmas ornaments. They are everywhere. The places the imagineers put them is just so creative, it will amaze you.
