We stayed in a two-bedroom townhouse at the resort. It was well kept, clean, and had a small pool on the back patio. We had a fantastic view of the intracostal and a neighborhood iguana. There are hotel rooms also available and smaller townhouses to fit all price ranges.

Our condo had three TVs, two bedrooms, a DVD and VCR player, two balconies, two and a half baths, and a very equipped kitchen.

You are in a great location; 1 hour north of Key West, 20 minutes from Islamorada, and 1 hour from Key Largo—which has Pennekamp State Park.

I would recommend eating off the resort the service staff get an automatic 15% tip no matter how good or bad they are doing. Annettes in Marathon is awesome, as well as Islamorado Fish House. Big Bunz is good for breakfast up in Key Largo

Best Things Nearby:
Everything is at your beck and call at this place. Fishing, snorkeling, pools, playground, tennis, restaurants, dolphin encounters.

Best Things About the Resort:
The lagoon by the hotel pool is great for kids who are "afraid" of what might be in the ocean. It is right next to the dolphins pen, and you can rent tiki boats to paddle around in for 30 minutes. There is a great Kids Camp with pirate pool, lunch, putt putt, with a basketball and volley ball court as well.

Resort Experience:
Don't expect to save money here but you will get a lot of bang for your buck. The staff at the Kids camp is incredible. You are one hour from Key West so you can enjoy the sunset festival on Mallory Square. You are 20 minutes from Islamorada which has the Wide World of Sports store for the avid fisherman, and one hour from Pennekamp state Park. There are great, small independently owned restaurants in Marathon (Annettes). If you like fishing go out with captain Kirk on the baitrunner with first mate Walker, they were fantastic with our kids.

This place has it all. Four pools located all over the resort. A large lagoon that kids can play in and rent tiki boats to kayak in. There is dolphin encounters, fishing charters, scuba diving charters, snorkeling, sunset cruises and much more. The kids spent one evening at the Kids Club and had a blast playing kick ball, doing crafts and eating dinner. There are tennis courts, a large play area for kids, and a putt putt course. The WatersEdge restaurant had live music by the docks and the Cantina served great drinks. You can't come here and not find something to do!
