Overview

Ameriquest Field in Arlington is the home of the Texas Rangers. On Monday April 3, 2006 we went to the home opener game against the Boston Red Sox. Being Red Sox fans we enjoyed the fact that the Sox won in a 7 to 3 victory against the Rangers. The game was fun and we enjoy going to a Ranger game when we can (most often when the Red Sox are in town). Ameriquest Field in Arlington has many activities and entertainment to offer the whole family or any age person. With a kids area in center field, the visitors bull pen, lots of food and drinks, a gift shop and a hall of fame museum, there is plenty to keep you busy and entertained if the game it self is not enough. Ameriquest fiel...Read More

Captain Corrals is a great little place right next to the main gift shop. It is a cute little restaurant that is just for kids. When you walk in you see four little tables for the kids to sit at, very low to the ground and easy for them to get in and out of. The menu has a few items on it but all them are $1.00.The hot dogs, pizza, Peanut butter and jelly, and nachos are all just $1.00. They also have some other items but they range in price up to about $5.00. Everything at this place is specialized for the children, making it a more enjoyable experience for the parents. I know I enjoyed that I did not have to pay a lot of money for a hot dog my son was not going to eat. They also have...Read More

Dr. Pepper Youth Ballpark, is a natural grass facility with seating for 650 in a grandstand designed to mimic Ameriquest Field in Arlington. Dimensions are for youth leagues and a variety of youth games and activities take place in the facility. These facilities are open to the public and are fun to let the kids run wild for a little before the game. For most people the youth park is on the way to the main ball park. We usually stop and let our little boy run around and take a few family pictures.

It's not much but it is really nice and a neat place to let the kids run and have a little taste of the real thing.

Featuring games, activities and special events, the Coca-Cola Sports Park provides family fun for kids of all ages. The sports park has batting cages for little kids, ring toss, batting speed games and many other little activities for the kids. Most of the activities take tokens and the tokens are $1.00 a piece. The area has astro turf type ground that makes sitting and watching and running around much softer and enjoyable for the parents. In some areas you can see the game. Mainly behind the bleacher section. The visitor bull pen is also right in this area....Read More

On April 1, 1994, a new era for the Texas Rangers began with the opening of Ameriquest Field in Arlington. The beautiful baseball-only facility serves as the centerpiece of a 270-acre complex, which solidifies Arlington, Texas as an entertainment giant in the Southwest. Yet, the 115 seat open-air ballpark was designed and built with tradition and intimacy in mind, containing features such as a granite and brick facade, exposed structural steel, an asymmetrical playing field, and a home run porch in right field. Texas architecture is featured throughout, from the outer facade to the Lone Stars in the concourses and on the seat aisles. This unique complex also includes a baseball museum, a chil...Read More
