The meadows, little farm houses, and cows (yes, cows!) make for a wonderful experience. The Trümmelbach falls, which are inside the mountainside are also worth a look if you have the time.Quick Tips: When hiking dress sensibly and pack for anything. The room was clean and cozy with the toilet and shower down the hall. The couple that runs the place treat you as family, so you feel very welcomed upon your arrival. Buffet breakfast is included. Eat like Elvis to give you enough energy for the day. The resaurant is the only one in this little village of maybe 100 residents. They offer Asian food in addition to the meat and potato staples. Large portions are worth the price (about $10). Sit outside on the terrace for a spectacular view of the Alps! This is a good place to trade stories and find someone to share a hike with.
