Quality of the hotel I stayed in.

The Novello hotel is right in the centre of Blackpool. The welcome is absolutely magnificent. It is very personal, a good cup of coffee or tea is offered and a comfortable chair to recover from the tiredness of travelling. The rooms are spacious enough. More importantly, they are spotlessly clean. The Novello Hotel offers some hospitality goods which you do not often see in these small, family-run hotels. Such as soaps, shower cap, coffee/tea making facilities, laundry service, extra keys, and daily change of menu. The food is fabulous and served with a natural smile! Most of all the staff and the owners are really very friendly, and go the extra mile to offer service and make you feel at home! The price is moderate; somewhere around £29 for Bed and Breakfast.

Blackpool is magnificent in September and October. The weather is fairly good, autumn of course, and bathing in the sea is no longer an option. All along the 7-mile seafront Illuminations are on, all sorts of displays, it gives the town a special atmosphere. The Novello Hotel really made my Holiday. I have already booked for a visit over Easter 2006!
