I am surprised at one of the other reviews. I enjoyed my stay and many guests there were repeat customers. Several guests were there on business in Quito and liked the central location, as well as the relaxed but professional atmosphere. As it is near both a police station and the American Embassy, it is both secure and quiet. It is a colonial style sprawling building, run by a lovely and helpful family. The rooms are well appointed, as are the bathrooms. It is not new, so don't expect gleaming modern facilities, but everything works!
