It was a lovely location—just two blocks from the Space Needle (we could see it perfectly framed out our window!!) and therefore also blocks from the fun monorail ride into the center of the city. The hotel couldn't have been better. The staff were extremely friendly and parking was no problem at all. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle, but we enjoyed the monorail so much, we only took the shuttle once or twice.

A perfect hotel for a visit to Mount St. Helens. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but we adored it! It was perfect for us—located just off the major highway, and so incredibly easy to find. Also, it was steps away from a couple of Mount St. Helens gifts shops, as well as the Cinedome, which shows an hourly IMAX eruption documentary. We loved it! It gave us great flexibility to wander on over whenever we wanted. The IMAX is a must-see, you can feel the ground shake with the video of the eruption. The Cinedome is aside, the hotel was friendly, but very quaint and no thrills.

We made reservations for Sunday brunch, and it was fantastic! The brunch is 10am - 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and costs a standard $40, but we both believed it was completely worth the price. The $40 includes a very large and delicious meal, as well as complimentary admission to the O Deck for the whole day. The amazing panorama backdrop to your meal is well worth the expense. The restaurant rotates complete 360's while you are eating, and you get about 2.5 rotations out of a full meal. The waitstaff are great, and very helpful when you lose your way on the way back from the restrooms (they are in the center, but your table has been rotating on the outer ring while you were away!) In all hone...Read More

An amazing, breathtaking sight! Be prepared for an exciting drive. There were times when I was truly white-knuckled, and my mom got nervous every time I tried to look over the side. I have to say, just the drive up the mountain was exhilarating. I loved every minute of it, and at times it was just about as gutsy as sky-diving!Close to the top you reach a parking area with gorgeous views. Stop here, stretch your legs, but don't even think of turning back. You must continue to Paradise Point. As we drove around the last corner and caught site of the Alpine wooden cabins, I felt chills. I really imagined I was somewhere in the Swiss Alps, and there might be a beer stein waiting for me somew...Read More
