Resort Experience:
First thing I need to tell you is that I am Fairfield owner. I came to the Villas on a last call through RCI. I had read some reviews of this resorts and was not completely in shock when I got there. When I checked in (at the hotel) the people were very pleasant. Hotel was beautiful inside. SO when I got to my unit 1165 the first thing I noticed was how poorly maintained the outside of the units were. Paint chipping off steps and trim. Inside wasn't much better. Kitchen counter were greasy inside refrigerator was dirty, inside cabinets had a layer of dust. Had to wash dishes before using. Stains on carpet. Stains and boogers on couch. Had to put blankets down before sitting. Bathrooms weren't much better. Had to buy Lysol and clean before using. Mold around top of shower and bottom of toilet, tiles around jacuzzi broke, rubber molding coming up at sink in master bath. Bedrooms were OK except cobwebs. Heat and hot water were great. The unit needs a very good dusting and 2 coats of paint and the furniture needs to be cleaned. Amenities, activities and restaurants were good. I was very disappointed with my vacation. I will think twice before going to a resort that isn't fairfield owned.
