I wanted to get out of London, so I took a wonderfully relaxing trip to Greewnich for a day.

Greenwich was extraordinarily beautiful. You can take a cruise along the Thames there or use the Docklands Light Railway. I highly suggest taking the cruise at least in one direction. It's a great way to see the city and get yourself oriented to London. Along with the Maritime Museam and the Royal Observatory (Prime Meridien), there's a beautiful (and enormous) park there also. Definitely a great place for a picnic if you want to escape downtown London.

Quick Tips:

Be sure to get a picture of yourself in two continents while standing on the Prime Meridian!
