Best Things Nearby:
Disney. But beware you are at the far end of the 192 and the traffic is heavy to Disney. Recommend you find resort closer up the 192. ie. Orange Lake or Silver Lake Also not within walking distance to any nice restaurants. Expect to drive most places. Grocery store was nice and convenient.
Best Things About the Resort:
The pool and the pool bar. Not much else.
Resort Experience:
The Summer Bay website shows a 3 bedroom unit as a 2 bedroom with a 1 bedroom lock off. This is what we were expecting but got a true 3 bedroom and were short one full bed and one bathroom!!! Made for things being a little cozier than we expected and being spring break both RCI or the resort could not help us because the resort was booked to capacity. Spending 3 days playing telephone tag with management and RCI put a bit of a damper on my holiday but everyone else seemed to enjoy the place.
I won't go back to this resort as I have stayed in nicer. Other people we talked to including owners seemed to have the same opinion about facilities as we did. Also the activities that were on site all cost extra including the mini golf.
