Grado was the second stop in our Honeymoon trip in Italy (first was Venice). Grado is located to the east from Venice. We got there by train, the best alternative to get there, since we had no car and there are no air connections to Grado. Grado is kind of an island or lagoon, not sure about that. But the entire town is devoted to tourism. There are almost no buildings other than hotels, shops, and restaurants. The are some ancient churches in the area, but just a few.
