Pet Lodge Resort in Alpharetta, Georgia, is a scam. My toy Pomeranian went in healthy and happy. We paid for the platinum package, which was supposed to include nature walks and play times. We dropped him off on a Thursday and picked him up on Monday, and he was filthy. He is a blonde-haired toy Pom and he had black, caked on tarry defecation on his behind and legs. They were suppose to bathe him that day. They even charged me for it, and when I saw him I could not believe it. They could not explain how this happened. You could tell this had been there for days. When we took him home it took 30 minutes, under soap and water, for all the fecal matter to wash off., proving that it had not just happened. His bed was soiled, his small kennel we took for him to sleep in had defecation inside and out. My dog was completely abandoned and no one cared.
We spoke and complained to management and demanded that the owner call, and "Ken Miller," the owner, has not even bothered to call and apologize. It is a disgrace. They should NOT be on the Travel's Channel top 10 vacation destinations for pets. They are the WORST. I had to take my dog to the vet the next day because he was so sick. It cost me because he was so bad. Their policy specifically states that they are responsible and will take your dog to the vet if they are sick and NO ONE CARED enough to take my dog to the vet. God forbid we had taken any longer. These people should be investigated. They should not be allowed to run such a heartless operation.

NEVER take your loved animal to Pet Lodge Resort in Alpharetta, Georgia. They do not care for your animal. They were suppose to call me if my dog was sick, they should have bathed him if he was dirty. They charged me for services they never rendered. They are dishonest and not trustworthy. They do not care about the animals, they just care about the money. My beautiful cute toy Pom went in on Thursday at 6pm and I picked him up on Monday 6pm, and my bill came out to . They are suppose to be a place that pampers your pet and they failed miserably. My dog was filthy, soiled with defecation, and they even charged me for bathing him that afternoon that later, they had to admit, never happened. They had no way to justify this situation. NEVER take your loving pet to Pet Lodge Resort in Alpharetta, Georgia. They claim to be an upscale place that pampers your pet but all they do is stick them in a cage and forget them.
