First of all, I LOVE Austin and visit several times per year. The Speakeasy is a nice place. That's about the only positive thing I can say about it. First of all, you have to enter via an alley... which is fine... until you get inside and all of the employees act like they are too high class to serve you. I waited (at a nearly empty bar) for 15 minutes for the bartender to finish making two martinis, to serve my friend and me. When, I finally did get served, the guy (who thought he was Tom Cruise from Cocktail) gave me a TON of attitude, and rudley slammed my change down.
