We had the "LUCK" of being upgraded to a room on one of their VIP floors. The room was appointed with soft, neutral colors on the walls and the furniture. The room relaxed you from the hustle-and-bustle from the gambling floors below.

The marble bathroom, with its Jacuzzi and stall shower, was a great plus!

Due to the Mandalay Bay being sold-out, we had the opportunity to stay at the Bellagio.

The rooms were done in neutral colors (tope), with hints of gold on the pillows. The artwork did bring the element of color into the room. However, it seemed very bland to me.

The bathroom was my favorite part.
A marble Jacuzzi and stall shower, are always great amenities in rooms. The shower head had the most powerful water pressure of any hotel I have ever been in... I loved it!

My first dining experience during this trip, and I can't say it was amazing.

I had a hamburger (as it was 3am) and I was starving.

The hamburger was tasty; however, it wasn't WOW! The service was absolutely horrible, but the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice.

Great Cafe! Located inside the Mandalay Bay.
They sell Starbucks Coffee, and it's a great way, and place, to start the morning!

The seating area (with it's very comfy chairs)is great for people watching.

After a long day of walking the strip we decided to stop by the Wynn and grab a bite to eat.

Sitting at the bar at Corsa Cucina was a great experience! We enjoyed the restaurant without having to get dressed up!

The restaurant, with it's vibrant red colors and appetizing appetizers, proved to be an excellent dining venue!

I highly recommend the sun-dried tomato bread, homemade meatballs, calamari, pizza with plum sauce, and the steak tartare.

Burger Bar

Restaurant

The Mandalay Bay and a friend of mine recommend the Burger Bar, however, I would not.

The burger I ordered was not fresh (a whopper at BK would have tasted better). They brought out my friends burger incorrectly, and just left it on the table. Fortunately, a manager realized this and was kind enough to bring out a fresh one for him.

The atmosphere and concept of the restaurant is great. They just need to work on customer service.

I may retry it on my return to Las Vegas. I do like to give places a second chance... STAY TUNED!

Mesa Grill

Restaurant

My friends and I had Sunday Brunch at Mesa Grill. The restaurant offers a very limited menu for brunch, however, most of the items are very tasty.

I had the roasted cauliflower soup as my appetizer and it was delicious! I tried some of my friends hash brown quesadillas and they were exceptional!

The spicy scrambled eggs is not an item I would recommend. I was pretty disappointed by it.

The restaurant has a very "hip-New York" atmosphere, which I believe makes the ambiance of the restaurant great!

Our server was "on the ball" for most of our dining experience. She only forget one of our requests.

Fleur de Lys

Hubert Keller's Fleur de Lys is a must-have dining experience in Las Vegas!

The restaurant is painted in dark colors with floor to ceiling drapes that hang around the restaurant.
This adds to the ambiance of elegance that surrounds you during your meal courses.

The portions are generous. I ordered a tuna tartar and was surprised to see five different varieties. The Fillet Mignon topped with foie gras and black truffles is expensive and rich, but very much worth the gastronomic pleasure! The Banana Dessert is "out of this world!"

By far, the best restaurant in Las Vegas! It has it all... the food, the ambiance, and the service!

Grand Lux Cafe

Restaurant

The Grand Lux Cafe offers large portions of un-ordinary breakfast items.

I kept it simple; scrambled eggs, hash-browns, and bacon. Two of my friends, however, decided to order something truly Las Vegas... waffles with fried chicken and pecan maple sauce.
It was yummy!

The great thing about traveling with friends is that you can share food.

Grand Lux Cafe serves Cheesecake Factory cheesecake... I, of course, indulge. Nothing beats Dulce De Leche Cheesecake after breakfast!

The ticket purchased offered a "limited view;" however, it was great! The seat gave me a view with a vantage point that most people near the stage did not have. The show was absolutely amazing! It is the most beautiful Cirque show I have seen. The use of water during the performances captivates you for the 2 hours you are there. The music and water trance you; you are literally taken away! A MUST-SEE LAS VEGAS EXPERIENCE!

The Hotels

One of the most enjoyable aspects of Las Vegas for me is walking through the hotels and casinos. You get to see what the other hotels in the area offer and where you could possibly stay next time you visit this great city! You can go from Paris to Italy to the Far East and back!
