A Week in the Dominican Republic

Overview

Windsurfing, kiteboarding, boogie boarding and lots and lots of sunning.

Quick Tips:

Fly into Puerto Plata Airport. We made the mistake of flying into Santiago and it was a nightmare driving narrow winding mountain roads for an hour to get to the hotel.

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking.

Dal Toscano

Restaurant

Quote:
This is one of the restaurants included in the all-inclusive. We had a lovely dinner overlooking the ocean. Mostly pasta and pizza. The pizzas are thin crust and the pastas are cooked al dente.

Attraction

Quote:
This store is located on the second floor next door to the Bon Ice Cream Shop. It is within a few minute walk of the resort. This is the only place you should be buying things. They have the best prices. I walked all around the town in all the stores and kept coming back here. I got rum, marijuana (Dominican Viagra - as the locals call it)cigars, jewelery and much more.
