Fall colors, winter wonderland, spring flowers, and summer fun. Relax, unwind, and leave your worries behind. We went there last August and then again for hunting season after our first trek on the Lewis and Clark Trail

The Fish Creek House is a beautiful log home located on 40 acres just outside of Whitehall. Fish Creek House offers ample fishing and hiking and is situated near many historic sites. Fish Creek House combines luxury accommodations, panoramic mountain views, wide-open spaces, and down-home hospitality.

The newly remodeled inn was designed to reflect the rustic history that is Montana. There are two themed guest rooms, each with private baths. Each one of our guest rooms feature a different "Montana" theme in an "upscale rustic" decor, from the handcrafted log-and-pine furniture to the unique local artwork that hangs on the walls.

After enjoying a full gourmet breakfast, guests can celebrate the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial by retracing the steps of Lewis and Clark through Whitehall.

You can relax in the picturesque living room. This comfortable room offers a large rock fireplace, perfect for reading a book or just relaxing. This is the perfect place to gather after a day on the trails. On the main level is a library that is a wi-fi hot spot

There's even a new barn, and it's horse-friendly! Other activities include hiking, antiquing, exploring nearby ghost towns, and going to shooting clinics. Virtually around the corner is the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest. There are literally thousands of miles of scenic trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowmobile riding, and cross-country skiing.

Innkeepers Cid and Dan Busarow will make you feel right at home in their beautiful log home. Whether you're visiting Montana for a hunt or fishing on one of the world-class fly-fishing rivers nearby, or if you simply prefer to relax, Fish Creek House is a wonderful home to come back to while you're away.
