I met some friends done in Myrtle Beach where we spent several days and had a large time. From the moment we gathered until the absolute last second that we departed we did all the things we love; dining, shopping, swimming, sunning and laughing.

Best Things Nearby:
Sand Beach Club, Damon's, Miniature golf.

Best Things About the Resort:
The rooms are fantastic but the people who work there actually care!! A very friendly staff.

Resort Experience:
We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa. King bed in the master suite and the 2nd bedroom had a full-size bed but the room was kind of cramped. Nothing we couldn't live with, though. There was a screened porch off the living room and master bedroom and a gas fireplace in the living room, also. Fully equipped kitchen that we easily took advantage of. There was also a sleeper sofa and 4 of us were very comfortable. The pools and lazy river are all they should be. Other amenities include sauna, whirlpool, locker rooms, large owners lounge and all the things you expect from a first-class resort. They have their own beach club directly across the street with a pool, beach access, locker and shower facility and spa. The resort has a shuttle that will take you all around the beach every day and they are located very close to the airport.

Dick's Last Resort

Restaurant

What a great place. We started our short trip by meeting here. All the waiters and waitresses are also comedians. The table cloths, menus, place mats and "funny-hats" the waiters make you wear all come from the same roll of white paper.
The interior of the restaurant is decorated in early junk-yard and just to warn you, don't go to the bathroom until you have watched a few other people go first and when you do, make note of the color of the soap!

Hard Rock Cafe

Restaurant

Good food, burgers and sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes well cooked and generous. But the best part of the Hard Rock (besides the music which is kind of loud but what you do expect) was the rendition of YMCA that all the waiters and waitresses treated us to.

Crocodile Rocks

Activity

The absolute best place to go for a laughing good time. We could have spent the entire night right here. It is a piano bar and where the players constantly play off each other. They also encourage audience participation by soliciting requests but also with friendly competition. You're going to end up at Broadway at the Beach at some point while your in Myrtle Beach. If you get half a chance, you've got to check this place out.
