Cancun... what a great place to vacation. I loved it. It's a beautiful place for a vacation, but they still need a good year for the beach to be rebuilt.

Sunset Royal Cancun All-InclusiveBest of IgoUgo

Royal Sunset was a nice palace to go, but the all-inclusive is too much money. When you own a timeshare and you trade, why should you have to pay for the all-inclusive package? And after paying for it, then find out that we can't even get Corona there and we're in Mexico. Never order the steak room-service meal, the worse steak that you'll ever have--1/4-inch steak the size of a shoe with about the same taste. The ocean view from the rooms is great. The sunset lagoon is very nice, too. Watch out for the salespeople at the resorts and even on the streets trying to sell timeshares. We finally just got up and left. Best Things Nearby:
It is very easy to get around to the bars and shopping.

Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing I could say about it is that the location and the sister resort are great locations.

Resort Experience:
Well to start with, the timeshare people are way to pushy in trying to sell. The food and drink were just OK to me. I'll never go back to a place that is all-inclusive that charges $93. Before the hurricane it was a very nice place to go, but not they got lots to do before it is back to what it should be. It had 50% off golfing, but the Hilton golf course was closed at the time we were there.

Bubba Gumps
Friendly, good service, and a good view of the lagoon. It's another place that you just want to go in a see, if you watched the movie Forrest Gump. We enjoyed it, and we'll go back again.

Have a drink
What a great boat trip to the island. When you get there you'll snorkel for about 30 minutes. After that you can go on the island and have lunch, then tour a beautiful island on a scooter or golf cart.

A great place to see, lots of things to do there, but the cost is expensive for most of the best things to do there. But, this is a place that you must go and see, we'd go back again.

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville
A place we just had to stop and see, since Alan Jackson wrote a song about it. It is very clean. It's a nice place to go, and we went in to the shop.

Story/Tip

The all-inclusive here is way over priced. It cost $1300 a week for two of us, in February. No one can eat an drink $93 a day when you are out-and-about on tours and shopping. And they don't even have Corona there!
