The Smithsonian was so awesome. I could not believe everything was free. You can't see everything in a day. We went 2 days and I still want to go back to see more. The Blue Ridge mountains are so beautiful. I have pictures of deer all over the village of Massenutten. The unit had two bedrooms. One with a bathroom attached and a nice sitting area and a look out over the village. The stained glass class where I made a clock was fun.
Quick Tips:
There was a wine tasting party, a trip up the lift. They rent bikes. The gym is large and has lots of equipment. The indoor pool looked nice too. I used our Jacuzzi in the main bathroom. Best Way To Get Around:
To go to D.C. we drove to a train station and took it the rest of the way in. It was the only cost we had for the trip to DC. That way we didn't have to find a parking place.
