Ever wanted to fly over Disney? The Contemporary Hotel can make that happen!

People often call this hotel a "big toaster in the sky." Just because of that title, I didn't want to stay there. Well, was I wrong! This is a beautiful hotel with a main building and connected wing rooms. I have had the pleasure of staying in the "tower" and the "wing" rooms. The tower room has great views of the 7 Seas Lagoon or the Magic Kingdom. The wing room is like your typical hotel room with a view of trees and facilities. I would pay the extra to stay in the tower. The best part is going to the top of the tower to watch the fireworks over Cinderella's castle. The pool facilities are wonderful. Several pools, and one with a water slide. They have a variety of water sports for you to enjoy for an extra fee. Chef Mickey's character breakfast is out of this world. There is a small coffee bar in the lobby area with Starbucks like, coffee and prices. A food court is available to get your usual cafeteria style food. You can walk to the Magic Kingdom, or take the monorail. However, if you take the monorail it takes a little longer since you go to the ticket center, Grand Floridian, and then the Polynesian.

This Mexican style resort is a nice moderate hotel in the Disney resort. It is a large facility with several buildings holding the rooms. There are nicely lit walkways so you can feel comfortable walking around at night. There are a few choices for dining throughout the facility. You do have to look around for a decent deal since much of it is rather pricey. There are pools scattered throughout the facility. One of which has an Aztec theme to it while another is in the middle of several hotel buildings. I didn't have a problem locating a chair.

The Contemporary Hotel has many activities to offer in this deluxe resort. One of is parasailing over the Seven Seas Lagoon. You can go solo or tandem up a few-hundred feet into the air. I can't recall the actual cost, but it is well worth it. For an extra fee, you can have the company take photographs of you going up. I brought my digital camera and caught some phenomenal sights from high up there. The take off is a bit scary at first, but once you get going, its breath taking.
