Cambria is located on the Central Coast of California. Cambria is an ideal getaway for couples, lovers or singles. The scenery is magical. A rugged coastline and towerig pines are part of the beauty you'll find here.

Moonstone Beach Drive is a scenic road that runs along the coastline. You can park and take a stroll through Shamel Park and see tide pools filled with sea anemones or if you feel daring you can climb the cliffs and see places where Chumish Indian women ground acorns many years ago.

Quick Tips:

At Leffinwell Landing you may see a wedding in progress, this is a very popular point for couples to tie the knot.

The view is spectacular! You can picnic here, hike or watch for whales. At the end of the trail there is a lovely viewing niche.

Best Way To Get Around:

If you stay on Moonstone Drie, then you can drive into Main Street to shop in the charming gift shops, antique malls, or find a fine restaurant for the evening meal.

The atmosphere was wonderful, very romantic setting. The tables are both inside and outside. You can enjoy a spectacular sunset while sipping a glass of wine.

While eating outdoors it gets a bit chilly but they restaurant provides outdoor heaters and soft, warm blankets!

You can enjoy a unique smoked salmon quesedilla that is so luscious, or you can have seafood, beef or chicken.

This was very lively, fun place to eat lunch. They offer a simple menu that serves huge portions. We ordered fish and chips and clam chowder-we could not finish either meal!

In the evening they offered a Karaoke contest which was obviously a community event. There were many locals who had fabulous voices, very nice entertainment.

We enjoyed wine tasting, live Jazz bands, shopping, and the Otter Trolley.

There are over 40 nearby wineries. We toured Harmony Cellars which is about five miles from Cambria.

We visited many speciality shops that offered mouth-blown glass!

Mainstreet is charming in a village like way. The shops are cottage industry types with many locally made items.
