Ski Weekend Montage

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriot for two nights. The hotel was located at the bottom of the mountain. Rooms were clean and roomy. Staff was very friendly, and pool was small but nice. There was also a hot tub to relax in after skiing for the day. The breakfast was a buffet, $9 for adults and $5 for children up to age 18. There were many restaurants in the area, as well a cineplex. Would definitely stay again if I was up in that area again.

Montage Mountain is excellent for family skiing. The mountain is not very big, but offers different trails for all levels of skiing. They also have a terrain park, which the kids enjoyed. We visited over the February 10th weekend, and not all of the trails were open due to a lack of snow. The black trails would be more like a double blue at other mountains in the area. The lodge is located on the base of the easy and intermediate trials, so you can sit in the lodge and watch the skiers make their way down. All of the more difficult trails go below the lodge due to the set up of the mountain. The lodge offers a nice selection for lunch and dinner. The bar service is very good in terms of selection, and the wait staff is very friendly.
