I travel to Andersonville NHP, GA, every second weekend in March for the National Park Service's annual POW Days program. Looking for places to eat in southwestern Georgia that are good is very hard work. We happened to get a recommendation from another visitor to the POW Days program: Yoder's, 3 miles east of Montezuma, GA, on Highway 26. He said it was a Pennsylvania Dutch restaurant. That's interesting, since I am from near that neck of the woods and I did not think any Amish or Mennonite people were in Georgia.
Well, Yoder's is FANTASTIC! The only drawback is that they are not open on Sundays. I wish they would hire some non-Amish or non-Mennonite people to allow the eatery to be open on Sundays. I want to eat here as much as I can when I visit southwestern Georgia.
Quick Tips:
GO TO YODER'S.Best Way To Get Around:
They are not accessible by any means other than private car. For directions, call Directory Assistance for Montezuma, Georgia. Ask for Yoder's on Highway 26. Get the number, call the restaurant, tell them where you are presently, and ask them how to get to their restaurant.
