A December 2000 trip
to Lake Tahoe by Iwent
Quote: The terrain delivers beginner to advanced challenges. The conditions were everything from powder to ice. The views were exceptional, and the skiing affordable.
Use your own equipment if you have it, but renting is fairly inexpensive. I recommend renting equipment for the duration from one place. You'll get a better price.
Bring extra gloves, hats and snow clothing. You will pay an arm and a leg at the resorts for replacement items.
The breakfast buffet offered danish, eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, coffee, juice and cereals.
There were bus stops in front of the hotel to all the local ski resorts and the casinos were within walking distance.
