Galleon

We did not have a good experience at the Galleon. There was a roach and a spider in the shower and the windows were dirty and would not open. The second night we woke up to some scratching at our door and called the front desk. No one answered, so we called the security number, and after explaining what was going on, the guy finally said, "Okay, I'll come over." We assumed it was a bird or stray cat, but we'll never know because the security guard didn't come to look, the front-desk person gave us the "it's not my job" look when we asked if the guard reported anything.

On top of all this, the staff at the Galleon sucked! We called the front desk at 9am to see if the check-out time was really 10am. It was. And when we didn't show up at the front desk promptly at 10am, they were on the phone to us at 10:06am, telling us we had to "vacate the premises immediately." We had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with three Galleon staff people, and they were all rude and inconsiderate!
