This was my first experience at a Brazilian Steak House, I was not sure what to expect but really looking forward to it. I knew they had an huge salad bar and they brought meat to your table, but what I did not know was that it was going to be some of the best food I had ever eaten.I will start with the service was fantastic. the waiter sat me, put my napkin on my lap and immediately filled a glass of water for me. He told us how the place worked and off I went to devour the salad bar. This salad bar has about 40 items. Everything from fresh cheese to sushi, to every fresh vegetable you could think of. There was fresh mozzarella , Parmesan, smoked provolone, roasted red peppers, picked ...Read More

Eating in Ft. Worth

Overview

Quote:
I am from a small town about an hour south of Fort Worth so I look forward to eating out in Fort Worth. Fort Worth has so much more to offer and a variety of foods to choose from. Sometimes it is very hard to decide where to eat because I want every thing when I come. However, there are a few places I choose almost every time I come to Fort Worth. Of course it does depend on who I am with and what we are doing. When I come with my husband if we do sit down we are probable going to do Mexican, not always but many times. Sometimes we will do other things like Italian or seafood. If we are eating fast food it will be something like Free Birds, Rosa’s, Or Chik-Fil-A (one of my favorites). When ...Read More

Mi Cocina has the BEST Mexican food I have ever eaten. I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, I like it but I do not love it like my husband, he could eat it all the time if I let him. Anyways, Mi Cocina is an upscale Mexican restaurant with a very modern atmosphere and feel to it that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The food is really good, I had a chicken enchillada, a beef taco and a pork tamale. The only other tamale that I have had that was better than this, was a homemade tamale made in Mexico. My meal was served with rice and beans and my meal cost just under $10.00. I thought this was a very reasonable price for the amount of food I got and the quality of food. Almost all the...Read More

Uno's Pizza is a specialty pizza place in the downtown area of Fort Worth, Sundance Square area. The food is pretty good it is a little pricey, but what can you expect for downtown. The service was not that great, we had to wait a pretty long time to get a table, maybe cause we had such a big party, but it was very crowded while waiting, and unpleasant. Once we got seated our order was taken, drinks first then appetizers. One person in our group did not even get his appetizer when we asked and they finally got brought out it was with everyone else's food. They messed up one persons pizza and then forgot to bring a pizza to the same guy whose appetizer got brought out late. When asked about it they wen...Read More

El Paseo is a cute little Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth. It is a little ways from the big city in an area of town that reminds me of Little Havana in Miami. It has a true down home Mexican feel, and the food is great. When you sit down you are greeted with water, chips, and hotsauce—a prerequisite for most meals when you eat with my husband and father-in-law. Everyone pretty much gets there own hot sauce cup and a basket to share. The chips are good, they are covered with chili powder and the hot sauce is good as well. Not the best around, but it does the job.We ordered several fajita plates which came out sizzling hot and steaming with flavor. The smell alone told me I was i...Read More

Potbelly Sandwich Works is a great little sandwich shop. Very nice and neat inside and looks a little more upscale than a Subway. All the sandwiches are $3.95. No matter what type you want. All the sandwiches are made to order, you just pick your meat and tell them the rest. First you choose your bread: white or wheat. Then you choose your meat and you get several meat choices, turkey, ham, meatball, roast beef, and so forth, then you get a choice of cheese: American, provolone, or Swiss. Once you have done that you can put lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions, hot peppers, mustard, mayo, oil and Italian seasoning on it if you like. For 50 cents you can also put mushrooms, bacon, extra meat and ...Read More
