Honeymooning in Massanutten

A September 2005 trip to Massanutten by deanamarie

This place was gorgeous two-bedroom unit with a Jacuzzi, a fireplace and a full kitchen. We loved the Fairways restaurant. The wildlife is abundant throughout the resort. We went on the Presidents tour. The staff was incredible and did everything they could to assure we had a great time!

We loved this restaurant and went 3 times- all different types of seafoods and the stuffed mushroom were awesome---the waitresses were extremely nice and the bartender made some awesome cocktails.

Attraction

This place was amazing - 90 miles of gorgeous views - it takes an entire day to really enjoy it and the pass was $10 for the week - so we went a few times - and we saw deers and bears, etc.

Story/Tip

We opted for the president’s tour as the Washington, D.C. tour was an entire day and we wanted a ½-day tour. It was nice we went to an outdoor mall with many crafts and specialty dining for lunch, we loved the tours of Jefferson's home and the tavern.
