Trip to Sedona, AZ

Overview

Quote:
I went to Sedona for work but made sure that I got out and saw the town. There were a lot of little touristy shops along the main area on the town that varied from souvenir shops to nice art galleries. You can see red rock from all over town. I was there in July, so it was pretty warm but not unbearable. I decided to go for a night hike and actually ended up in a lightning storm, which was actually really cool to watch, as I have never seen anything like it. The lightning strikes lit up the rock. If you go, I suggest that you make sure you get out of the main town area and explore the scenery!Quick Tips: Definitely get out and enjoy the red rock!Best Way To Get Around: Definitely get...Read More

Nightlife

Story/Tip

I went to Sedona in the middle of the week, and I am a bit of a night owl. I was a little disappointed to find out that there isn't much of a nightlife on the weeknights (there may be on the weekends), which was why I ended up going for a night hike, which actually turned out to be much better than going to the bars anyways. Be aware, though, that grocery stores and gas stations all seem to close early. I had a bit of an adventure getting hold of a flashlight.
